Google Email Migration: Complete 8/3/15

We turned off your Icewarp (@gloucester.k12.ma.us) account and turned on your new Google Apps account (@gloucesterschools.com).  From this point on your email address will be username@gloucesterschools.com (if you’ve been using a Chromebook or Google docs, you’ve already used this account). We will still forward email sent to @gloucester.k12.ma.us to your new email address after the migration.  

If you find that there are missing emails please contact IT via https://helpdesk.gloucesterschools.com or email networksupport@gloucesterschools.com 

*Note* - Payroll check stubs will automatically be delivered to your @gloucesterchools.com email if you had them going to your @gloucester.k12.ma.us before. Check stubs sent to an outside email address are not affected by this migration.

• How to Login to Email after 8/3/15

 To access your email, go to http://mail.gloucesterschools.com and enter your full email address (username@gloucesterschools.com) and password.

**DO NOT create a new gmail.com account, you must login using the information mentioned above.**

What You'll Need to Do

• If you’ve never used Google Email/Gmail before try this 10 minute tutorial.

• If you would like to learn more about Google Apps try this guide. 

After 8/3/15, login to your Google Apps account (http://mail.gloucesterschools.com) and begin using it for all your email correspondence and calendar scheduling. Depending on how you currently use Icewarp (@gloucester.k12.ma.us), you might also need to complete the following tasks:

• Notify your correspondence of your new email address (username@gloucesterschools.com)

• Upload your personal contacts in Icewarp (@gloucester.k12.ma.us) to ==> Google Contacts. (Click here for Guide)

• Move your scheduled events in your Icewarp (@gloucester.k12.ma.us) Calendar  ==>  Google Calendar (Click here for guide)

• Create your new email signature including your new email address  username@gloucesterschools.com 

• Optional - Set up your mobile device to use your Google email account.  Click here for iPhone/iPad or Click here for Android
