Free Resources:

Begin at the source, the Massachusetts Dept. of Education. The Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System Page will allow you to find text of the actual test questions, district scores, frequently asked questions, and more.

Massachusetts Online Network for Education (MassONE) is a state-funded site intended to bring parents, teachers, and students together in a community of shared tools and resources. 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students can register at MassONEto access online MCAS tutorials, tips, and practice exams.

The Boston Public Library website has an excellent section for parents and kids. Live Homework Tutors and MCAS Practice Exams for all grades. Parents will find many resources for education, parenting, and Internet usage tips.

MCASMentor.com has several pages of free resources for Math and English Language Arts subject areas.

Testu.com, The Princeton Review, and MCASMentor.com all sell software or books to help in MCAS preparation. The Gloucester Schools do not use or endorse these products, but parents may wish to see what they offer.
